Via Lingua TEFL programs are unique in that they are characterized by a commitment to:
Quality assurance is at the forefront of our thinking and planning at Via Lingua. We are committed to providing a course and certificate which are internationally benchmarked and which are subject to rigorous quality assurance procedures. In order to help us achieve these objectives, we have developed four specific strategies: the establishment of internal and external moderation procedures, the provision of professional development opportunities for all Via Lingua staff, the establishment of academic and advisory boards and the development of a code of ethics.
Via Lingua International actively supports professional
development within the fields of international education and
English language instruction. Staff hold membership in
NAFSA:
Association of International Educators, an organization
promoting international education in the United States.
Staff are also members of
Teachers of
English to Students of Other Languages (TESOL), an
association upholding standards of excellence in English
language teaching.
Via Lingua International endorses TESOL standards and the
NAFSA Code of Ethics.
