Quality assurance is at the forefront of our planning at Via Lingua. We are committed to providing a course and certificate which are internationally benchmarked and which are subject to rigorous quality assurance procedures. In order to help us achieve these objectives, we have developed four specific strategies: the establishment of internal and external moderation procedures, the provision of professional development opportunities for all Via Lingua staff, the establishment of academic and advisory boards and the development of a code of ethics.

Via Lingua International actively supports professional development within the fields of international education and English language instruction. Staff hold membership in NAFSA: Association of International Educators, an organization promoting international education in the United States. Staff are also members of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), an association upholding standards of excellence in English language teaching. Via Lingua International endorses TESOL standards and the NAFSA Code of Ethics.

 

 

ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the family that can be certified to (although this is not a requirement). It can be used by any organization, large or small, regardless of its field of activity. In fact, there are over one million companies and organizations in over 170 countries certified to ISO 9001.This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.
