Italy is back!

Italy has officially re-opened its borders, allowing international travellers to visit its picturesque destinations once again. Nearly three months later, the country has reopened with strict social distancing measures in place across the nation, requiring everyone to keep a one-metre distance from others, and two metres when exercising. Masks are also mandatory, with shops, trains, buses and other enclosed spaces expecting these to be used at all times.

Famous cultural sites across the region have now re-opened to visitors, such as the Colosseum in Rome and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, with strict social distancing measures in place – significantly reducing the number of tourists permitted to visit the attractions at one time. Restaurants, bars and cafes are also among those that have re-opened. In a bid to re-attract tourists, many popular sites are offering discounts to travellers!
