In compliance with EU law, you have 7 days after making a credit card payment for the deposit amount of EUR 275 to request a refund should you change your mind about participating in a TEFL course. After this period of time the deposit payment becomes non-refundable.
I understand that the balance of the course fee is to be paid by the morning of the first day of the course and that these fees are non refundable except in cases of exceptional circumstances and on condition that evidence of these circumstances is provided. In all cases, the Course Director´s decision is final.
I understand that payment of the course fee can be made by credit card, bank transfer or cash.
I accept that Via Lingua, its associates and employees are not responsible, part or in whole, for any personal injury, death, or loss of belongings at its premises, the premises of partner institutes, accommodation agents or in any social or cultural activity arranged by or for Via Lingua and/or its partner institutes.
Via Lingua accepts that it will not divulge any personal information submitted either through electronic or other means to any party not directly associated with Via Lingua.
I understand that I must attend at least 90% of scheduled course sessions and complete all of the assessed components within the set period of time to be eligible for the award of the Via Lingua Cert. TEFL. In mitigating circumstances, and on satisfaction of certain conditions, a certificate may be awarded at the discretion of the Course Director.
I understand that failure on my part to satisfy Via Lingua´s assessment criteria will affect my eligibility for the award of the Via Lingua Cert. TEFL.
I understand that the following may effect my certificate grade and may be grounds for dismissal from the course without a refund:
I will accept as final all decisions made by Via Lingua or the Course Director in regard of certification, grading and dismissal from the course.
I understand that if I do not satisfy course requirements within the given time period, I may be allowed a time extension beyond the set 4-week period. In such cases, Via Lingua agrees to allocate and arrange for additional teaching practices, the submission of written work, or extra input sessions. Should this be the case, additional charges of USD$ 35 for each teaching practice, USD$ 25 for the submission of written work, and USD $50 for attending input sessions will be charged.
I agree that I will provide any information regarding physical or mental conditions which may affect my performance during the course.
I accept that Via Lingua can only guarantee employment in certain destinations and on condition that I satsfy employment legislation in those locations. I accept that I must participate fully in all aspects of the job guidance program and that I conduct myself in a professional manner during an interview or demonstration lesson.
I accept financial responsibility for any books or materials borrowed by me from the Via Lingua center.
I understand that this Agreement shall be governed in all respects by and interpreted in accordance with the Laws of the State in which I attend the course.
